1. Installation To install Visual Localize the user needs to have adminstrator rights on the computer. Double-click the "Visual_Localize_6_Setup.exe" to start the installation process. Note: For the localization of .NET applications the corresponding .NET Framework 1.0, 1.1 and/or 2.0 needs to be installed before starting a .NET localization project.

2. Registration To register Visual Localize a software license key must be requested. This software license key is system-bound. To request a Visual Localize software license key please proceed as described below: Note: Visual Localize must be registered from the same user account as the one who has installed Visual Localize on the computer. Note: The user who registers Visual Localize must have administrator rights on the computer.
How to request a license? Please follow these steps to send us your user data and reference code: Start Visual Localize. The following dialog is displayed:

Click on the "Request license" button. Or if Visual Localize is already opened: Click on the menu item “About Visual Localize” in the “Help” menu. The following dialog is displayed:

In both cases, click on the “Register” button. The following dialog is displayed:

Click on the “Request license” button to open the order form:

Enter your user data and click on the “Order” button. A license agreement is displayed. To proceed, click on the “Accept Agreement” button. Note: For the registration of the XML Engine tick the “With XML translation” check box. Note that the XML Engine is a chargeable add-on. Note: For the registration of the Database Engine tick the “With Database translation” check-box. Note that the Database Engine is a chargeable add-on. Note: Please make sure to enter a valid e-mail address for this will be the return address for your license code. Note: Do not alter the automatically created reference code or it will become invalid. Note: If you do not accept the agreement, Visual Localize cannot be registered. Your e-mail program will open. A filled out e-mail with your data is displayed:
The correct e-mail address is automatically set in the address field (registration@aitag.com). Please do not change anything within this e-mail. If you have concerns about something, please call our technical support +49 (0)711 49066-431). Your license key will be generated automatically. After we receive your payment we will send you your license key via eMail.
How to upgrade your test version to a full version As soon as you receive an e-mail with your license key, you are ready to register Visual Localize. Start Visual Localize. The following dialog is displayed:

Click on the "Register" button. Or if Visual Localize is already open: Click on the menu item “About Visual Localize” in the “Help” menu. The following dialog is displayed:

Your reference code is already entered. If your reference code is incomplete (the code must have 24 ciphers), please call our technical support: +49 (0)711 49066-431. Enter (copy & paste) the complete User ID and license number from our e-mail into the corresponding fields. Click on the “OK” button. Your Visual Localize test version is now a full version.
